On May 14th at 3:20pm the bed of a truck caught fire while the driver was on S. Queen at Leader Heights Road. He believes a cigarette ash got into his golf bag which was in the bed of the truck. The fire department extinguished the fire.

On March 28th at 5:30pm a large tree fell on two residences on Crestview Drive causing severe damage and trapping two people inside. The responding police officer saw that the back door had been screwed shut. The officer was able to unscrew the door and assist the occupants to get out to safety.
On 13 February at 11am a female was looking for a parking spot at Giant on Cape Horn Road. As she tried to pull-in, another driver took the spot. The female started to yell at the other driver enough that the police were called and the other driver felt threatened.
