This application is for individuals that are currently certified police officers.  The officer is ACT 120 certified in Pennsylvania or has a POST certification in another state.  

The York County Regional Police Department can provide salary and paid time off benefits commensurate with the officers completed years of service in law enforcement.  

Applicants will remain confidential and notice to your employer will only occur at the end of the background investigation.  

There are numerous opportunities for specialized training, assignments and advancement:

• Supervision - Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Deputy Chief, Chief of Police

• Training - Accident Reconstruction, Drone, Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Inspections, Child Safety Seat, Forensics, Use-of-force instructors, Motor Officer, Crisis Intervention Training, Field Training Officer.

• Assignments -  Patrol, SWAT, K9, Detective Bureau, Civil Disorder Team, School Resource Officer, Mounted Unit.
