Victims Rights

The Newberry Township Police Department is focused on helping crime victims. The police officers and their staff are dedicated to solving crime but also to assisting victims that are in need after the crime occurs. The Department provides information to domestic violence victims as well as victims of crimes where they can be considered for compensation from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. Victims complete the forms and send it to the appropriate address. The applications are evaluated and assistance is offered to victims that meet the Commissions parameters.

If you have been a victim and have not received these forms, please request them through the website’s email address. An application will be sent to you or you can call the officer and request a form.
