The Newberry Township Police Department is currently conducting an investigation following the discovery of two deceased dogs in a creek near the intersection of Yocumtown Rd. and Valley Green Rd. in Newberry Township.  These dogs included an adult female Pitbull and an adult male Akita.

Newberry Township Police have identified the owners of both dogs and are being assisted by the York County SPCA in this investigation.  This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Newberry Township Police at 717-938-2608 or submit a tip on our website (www.newberrypd.org).
