The Fairview Township Police Department is participating in National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 29th. We will be set up in front of Crossroads Middle School starting at 10:00 am until approximately 2:00 pm.
The drug overdose epidemic in the United States is a clear and present public health, public safety, and national security threat. The DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day reflects DEA’s commitment to Americans’ safety and health, encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting. The Fairview Township Police Department shares this commitment and is excited to partner with them.
Anybody who has unneeded or expired medications can bring them to Crossroads Middle School on Saturday for safe disposal.
