York County Regional Police Department's website, www.ycrpd.org, has a new feature for parents and guardians to register individuals identified with special needs with the Department.  This allows the Police Officers and First Responders to have access to information related specifically to the individual with special need(s) and that information is provided by the family.  Officers responding to calls for service related to the individuals will have access to this information which could be invaluable to the officer in identifying and reuniting the person with their family.
