After 30+ years, Badge #9, Sergeant Michael Grada, is retiring from the York County Regional Police Department, effective today, August 12th, 2025. 

Sergeant Grada began his law enforcement career with Spring Garden Township on November 14, 1994, and continued his dedicated service with York County Regional Police Department following the merger of the two agencies on June 1, 2025, having never taken a single sick day!

Over the course of his career, Sergeant Grada has faithfully served as a patrolman, field training officer, traffic safety coordinator, and patrol supervisor.  
Sergeant Grada is considered by many to be a mentor, admirable colleague and friend.

Thank you, Sergeant Grada, for your unwavering commitment to protecting and serving, for the sacrifices made, and for the countless lives you have touched.
