FATAL MVA E. Prospect Rd. Windsor Township 06/19/2022

June 19, 2022 at approximately 01:35 a.m. Officers from the York County Regional Police Department were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in the 4300 block of E. Prospect Rd. (S.R. 0124). 

Upon arrival the officers discovered a 2007 Jeep Wrangler had impacted a Met-Ed Power Pole and came to rest in the field adjacent to the roadway.  There were 5 occupants riding in the Jeep at the time of the crash and one occupant, Kirk N. Ruff; 41 years old of Red Lion, was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

Speed may be a factor in the crash and impairment is a factor in the crash.  The investigation is on-going.
