West Manchester Township PD is hiring!

West Manchester Township Police Department participates in the Metropolitan York Police Testing Consortium when filling open police officer positions.  This consortium is made up of departments from across York County that cooperate to give candidates the opportunity to apply for employment with several agencies at one time for one cost. 

The consortium has historically accepted applications for the position of police officer on an annual basis.  For the first testing cycle of 2023, applications are being accepted from now until March 3, 2023.  The test will be administered on March 4 and March 11, 2023.   

Each of the participating departments offer competitive salary and benefit packages, and all are Equal Opportunity Employers.  West Manchester Township is considering hiring two police officers during this round of testing.
