Shop With A Cop
Shop with a Cop is a national program pairing police officers with children to afford them a better Holiday Season. The program allows children to view police officers in a different atmosphere to promote positive relationships. Young kids are selected each year during the end-of-the-year holiday season to shop at a local area store. Each child is given a small amount of money to spend and officers escort them around the store to assists in selecting gifts.
Shop with a Cop was developed to help make the holidays brighter for disadvantaged families in the West York School District but we can't do it without support. Individuals interested in being a sponsor of the Shop with a Cop program should complete a donation form which may be found at the bottom of this page as a pdf attachment.
