Effective April 16, 2023, the York County Board of Commissioners enacted a temporary 30-day ban on all outdoor burning (Resolution 2023-08).  This ban shall continue for a period of 30 days unless terminated earlier by a subsequent resolution.  A person who violates this resolution commits a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to a fine of not more than $100.00 for the first offense.
