Traffic Safety Programs

The Carroll Township Police are actively committed to public safety. For several years Carroll Township Police have entered into a partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Central Pennsylvania Center for Traffic safety by participating in Buckle Up PA, in which officers enforce Pennsylvania’s seat belt laws.  Carroll Township police officers also conduct aggressive driving enforcement which is a grant funded by the Commonwealth. Carroll Township police in conjunction with other officers in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and New Jersey are on the lookout for aggressive driving to ensure the safety of all motorists.
