Effective Friday October 1st, 2021, all officers will now be wearing body worn cameras. These cameras were obtained as part of a grant and will be used to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and officers. Cameras will be used during all interactions with the public. These new body worn cameras work in conjunction with our existing in-car cameras and audio system. All recordings are securely stored and can be used in court proceedings to help ensure the best possible outcome of cases.
