NEWS RELEASE

On 6/5/2021, at 0845 hours, the LWTPD was dispatched to the area of Klines Run Park to check for a possible suicidal subject.  LWTPD had received information from another agency that a female subject may be at the park in her vehicle with a firearm.  Officers responded to that location and located a vehicle matching the description.  Female was located inside the vehicle with a self inflicted gun shot wound.  Coroners Office and Ambulance were both contacted to respond.  Victim's family was later notified.
