SHOP WITH A COP 2021
On Saturday, December 4, 2021, the Lower Windsor Township Police Officers Association conducted our annual SHOP WITH A COP event, where we took 17 of our local kids Christmas shopping! The day started off with a breakfast and then the kids and parent/guardian got to ride in a school bus from the police station to Target, where they each received money to spend. This year over $7,000 was donated and distributed to each child who participated. Once the shopping was completed, they loaded back on the bus and returned to the Police Station for wrapping and luncheon.
The LWTPOA would like to thank the volunteers that made this event such a success! We would like to give a HUGE thank you to Becky Buser, DeAnn Gittins, April Fake and Ann Yingst. These ladies donated and provided breakfast, as well as helped wrapped gifts. You ladies rock! A shout out to the Eastern York High School Honor Society students for helping to wrap gifts. BIG BOB’S BBQ provided lunch for all the participants and volunteers – thank you so much!
