On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at approximately 4:30 pm, Officer Sean Lake was dispatched to down trees and wires on Schmuck Road.  The trees fell across a creek and took down the wires.  Met Ed was dispatched to the area and were going to be there for a while. 

While on scene, Officer Lake heard unusual sounds coming from the creek.  Upon inspection, 6 baby raccoons were found in the creek.  Raccoons were brought back to the station and were taken to Red Creek Wildlife Center in Schuylkill County.
