On March 24, 2022, at 7:28pm Lower Windsor Township Police responded to 540 Bull Run Rd on the request of friends of a 24 year old male who lived at that location. They believed he was having emotional issues and they wanted our department to check on his welfare. Once the officers arrived they attempted to make contact with him. After they entered the house they heard a gunshot on the second floor of the house. Other police agencies and the York County QRT team were called to the scene. Approximately 2 and half hours later when police located the victim, they discovered he had shot himself in the head. York County Coroner’s office was notified of the investigation.

 Name of the victim is not being released pending notification of the next of kin.
