Effective Immediately - LWT Burn ban has been lifted by Chief Jesse Franz.

At the recommendation of the Lower Windsor Township Fire Chief Jess Frantz, Lower Windsor Township as of today, April 11, 2023, has instituted a burn ban due to the extended dry conditions and accompanying risk of fire.

Burn ban will be in effect until further notice.  

During the ban, residents are prohibited from any type of open burning.

Outdoor cooking on a grill or other covered device is fine.
