On 6/17/21, the LWTPD paid a visit to a local veteran.  Several months ago, we assisted with getting him medical care after completing a welfare check.  We returned this date and gave him an American flag in thanks for his service to our nation.  He was doing much better and thanked us for recognizing his service.  If you are aware of a local veteran who needs to be checked on, please contact us and we will gladly check on their welfare.  It's the least we can do for their service.  Thank you!
