The use of vehicle engine brake retarders is prohibited in Hanover Borough per ordinance enacted March 23, 2022.  Signs advising drivers of the prohibition are now in place and the police department will start enforcing the restriction.  You can read the ordinance at the following link: https://ecode360.com/39712339.
