DAILY ACTIVITY LOG:

Thursday, January 5, 2023;

0642:
A charge for recklessly endangering another person is pending against a 34 year old Hanover woman following an incident that occurred in the 100 block of High Street.

0925:
Minor injury was reported and towing was not required following an accident that occurred in the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive.  A 2018 Chevrolet Traverse operated by Deanna McDonough, of York Springs, struck Worth Bible, of Abbottstown.  

1021:
Disturbance involving a disorderly male subject was reported in the area of Carlisle and Chestnut Streets.

1228:
No injuries were reported and towing was not required following an accident that occurred in the 900 block of Carlisle Street.  An unidentified truck tractor and trailer struck a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse operated by Claudia Zaragoza, of Hanover and a 2007 Ford Escape operated by James Papoutsis, of Hanover, and then fled the scene.

1316:
Joseph Nelson, age 30 of Germantown, MD, and Andrew Piskorik, age 53 of Greencastle, PA, were arrested and charged for retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft, and receiving stolen property following an incident of shoplifting reported at a business in the 400 block of Eisenhower Drive.  Nelson was also charged for evading arrest or detention on foot and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from the incident and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  Both were turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Department for further disposition.

1519:
Minor injury was reported and towing was not required following and accident that occurred in the 900 block of Carlisle Street.  A 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt operated by Joseph Schmidt Jr., of Stroudsburg, PA, struck a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic operated by Nancy Goodman, of Hanover.

1708:
Criminal trespass was reported on Center Square involved a female subject loitering on private property who was gone from the area before police arrived.
