No injuries were reported and towing was required following an accident that occurred in the 100 block of W. Elm Avenue.  A 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Angel Villard, of Hanover, struck a utility pole owned by Met-Ed.

1137:
Disturbance involving an irate customer was reported at a business in the 900 block of Carlisle Street.

1525:
Minor injuries were reported and towing was required following an accident that occurred at N. Franklin and W. Chestnut Streets.  A 2020 Toyota Rav4 operated by Beverly Rouse, of Hanover, struck a 2017 Buick Encore operated by Grady Simmons, of Hanover.

1728:
Harassment occurring between two men was reported in the 100 block of Eisenhower Drive.

1933:
Domestic argument occurring between several family members was reported in the 100 block of Pleasant Street.

Domestic argument occurring between a father and a son was reported in the 500 block of Carlisle Street.

Domestic argument occurring between a man and a woman was reported in the 200 block of Third Street.

No injuries were reported and towing was required following an accident that occurred at Baltimore and Middle Streets.  A 2017 Hyundai Elantra operated by Ashley Bunty, of Hanover, struck a 2009 Honda Civic operated by Linda Russell, of Manchester, MD.

Disturbance involving a verbal argument occurring between two men was reported in the 200 block of Baltimore Street.

1717:
Domestic argument occurring between a man and a woman was reported in the 500 block of Baltimore Street.

1925:
Disturbance involving a disorderly male subject was reported in the 400 block of Broadway.

Disturbance involving loud music was reported in the 100 block of S. Railroad Street.

Sunday, January 1, 2023;

0037:
Suspicious circumstance was reported in the 700 block of E. Walnut Street where a resident believed they heard someone at the front to the residence.  The area was checked and no one was located.

0108:
Tayler Jones, age 25, and Brian Kersey, age 42, both of Aspers, PA, were arrested for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness following a disturbance reported in the first block of York Street.  They were turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Department for further disposition.

Domestic argument occurring between a man and a woman was reported in the 700 block of Broadway.

0013:
Suspicious subject reported loitering in the 300 block of Frederick Street was not located.

Disturbance involving loud music was reported in the 700 block of Blossom Drive.

Domestic argument occurring between a man and a woman was reported in the 200 block of N. Franklin Street.

A charge for disorderly conduct is pending against a 32 year old McSherrystown woman following a disturbance reported in the 200 block of Broadway.

Disturbance involving two disorderly customers was reported at a business in the 100 block of Eisenhower Drive.

Domestic argument occurring between a mother and a son was reported in the first block of Orchard Street.

Criminal mischief was reported in the 200 block of Frederick Street where the paint on a parked vehicle was damaged.
