On Tuesday May 4th, at approximately 6:58pm, after a string of recent shootings and another night of "shots fired" incidents: first in the 300 Blk of Irving Rd, S. Pine St, and E. Jackson, responding Officers developed evidence that led them to a residence in the 900 block S. Queen St, where the suspect(s) had just entered.

An unruly crowd then began to gather and additional Officers from surrounding area departments (Spring Garden and York Area Regional) were subsequently called in to assist. Despite the interference of a hostile crowd (to include the property owner), Officers were able to hold the scene as a search warrant was obtained. As a result of this combined effort, Officers recovered the following:

•Quantity of Heroin

•Quantity of Crack Cocaine

•Approximately a pound of Marijuana

•Loaded AK-47 rifle

•Three .40 caliber Glock pistols (one reported stolen) 

We are CERTAIN the actions of these Officers undoubtedly saved or will save someone's life.
