As we approach my last day I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that supported me throughout my career. York City and Mayor Helfrich gave me the opportunity of a lifetime and I will always be thankful for that. It has been a pleasure to work with each of you. My only regret is leaving the officers and friends I have fostered over the years.  My hope is that those who criticize us unfairly will recognize the commitment I have seen in our officers, who run toward gunfire with no questions asked for anyone who dials three numbers on their phone.  Thank you to my family for the support, my beautiful wife Mary and daughter Kate, my mother Donna who never wavered, Uncle Dick and Aunt Dory, my son Will and cousin Chris to whom I will join in Florida next week.
