For Immediate Release: Chief versus Commissioner for the City of York Free Throw Champion Title
Commissioner Osborn Robinson has challenged Chief Troy Bankert to a Free Throw Competition for the coveted City of York Free Throw Championship Title. Lincoln Charter School invites the press and the community to this major competition on Friday, January 10, 2020, at 9:30. The Chief and Commissioner will be joined by Mayor Michael Helfrich and District Attorney David W. Sunday Jr.
The Free Throw Championship began a few years ago between Mayor Helfrich and Chief Bankert. “I am excited that our new Police Commissioner is committed to carrying on the traditions of York City,” states Dr. Hart, Principal of Lincoln Charter School.
Lincoln Charter School is happy to host the free throw competition to support health in the York Community. This year LCS has added four basketball teams and expensed its cheerleading program. Those students will be in the stands for the game.
