Arrest

On December 2^nd, 2020, a York City police officer on proactive patrol observed a white Honda Civic driving erratically in the area of Madison Ave and N. Newberry St. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle which fled. The vehicle crashed and the occupants fled on foot. Inside the vehicle, police discovered a Glock handgun, quantity of cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and drug packaging material. Further investigation revealed the driver to be Joshua Penn. A warrant was obtained for his arrest.

Charges

Joshua Penn is being charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of firearm prohibited
• Firearms not to be carried without a license
• Flight to avoid apprehension
• Manufacture, delivery, or possession with the intent to deliver controlled substances
• Turn signal violation
• Stop sign violation
• Leaving the scene of an accident
• Driving with a suspended driver’s license
