***Arrest Made*** - Shooting - 600 block E. Market St
Shooting Investigation
On Friday, February 10th 2023, York City Police responded to the 600 block of E. Market St for a reported shooting. On scene, police discovered a 49-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound. The male victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Detectives were notified and assisted in the investigation.
Arrest Made
During the investigation, officers identified two suspects and immediately took them into custody. Douglas DENNIS, 47 years old, was charged with simple assault and persons not to possess a firearm. Another individual, Gregory COUNTS, 54 years old, was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and person not to possess a firearm. Both individuals were turned over to central booking for arraignment.
