Police are looking for a vehicle of interest believed to be involved it in the shooting on 6/24/24. The vehicle is a 2011 Hyundai Sonata light blue/silver in color with PA Registration MCW-0310. If seen please notify police immediately, occupants may be armed and dangerous. This vehicle was reported stolen from York City on 6/14/24. 

Shooting Investigation

On Monday, June 24th, 2024, at approximately 6:47 pm, York City Police responded to a reported shooting in the 600 block of W. Market St. Upon arrival, officers found no victims at the scene but learned that four individuals had been transported to a local hospital in a privately owned vehicle. The initial investigation revealed that three 18-year-old females and one 16-year-old female had been struck by gunfire, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives are currently investigating the incident.
