Warrant Obtained

The York City Police Department would like to announce that a warrant has been obtained for Alexis Cado-Suero. Alexis Cado-Suero, 15, of York, is wanted on charges of criminal homicide in connection with the shooting death of Tyree Smart.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the York City Police Department in any of the following ways. Tips can always be anonymous.

Homicide Investigation

On Saturday, March, 27th, 2021, at approximately 2:53 pm, York City Police responded to the 300 block W. Newton Ave for the reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a 16 year old male with apparent gunshot wounds. Officers immediately provided aid to the victim who later died from his injuries. York City Detectives were called upon to investigate.
