Warrant Obtained
The York City Police Department would like to announce that a warrant has been obtained for Darryl Peeples. Peeples, 37, of York, is wanted for criminal attempt – homicide in connection with the shooting of a 13 year old male in the 100 block of S. Penn St on Monday, March 29th, 2021.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the York City Police Department in any of the following ways. Tips can always be anonymous.
Incident
On Monday, March 29th, 2021, at approximately 6:41pm, York City Police responded to the 100 block of S. Newberry St for reports of a shooting. On scene, officers discovered 13-year-old male victim who sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was treated at an area hospital where he is expected to survive. Detectives continue to investigate.
