**Update - Arrest Made ** Shooting - 400 block Roosevelt Ave.



Arrest Made

On Monday, August 22nd, 2022, York City detectives began investigating the shooting incident that occurred in the 400 block Roosevelt Ave. Using video surveillance, detectives were able to determine that the suspect had shot from of a white Hyundai Sonata and were able to obtain the vehicle registration. Using the information from the vehicle registration, along with additional intelligence, detectives were able to identify the shooting suspect as Domminique SALISBURY (pictured).

On August 24th, 2022, York City detectives, along with the assistance of the York County Quick Response Team, conducted a search warrant at an address in the 100 block S. Richland Ave. During the search warrant, detectives located a firearm, a switchblade, and additional drug evidence.

SALISBURY was arrested for the following offenses:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Possession of Firearm Prohibited
  • Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License
  • Prohibited Offensive Weapon

SALISBURY was turned over to central booking for arraignment.


On Monday, August 22nd, 2022, at approximately 10:10am, York City Police responded to the 400 block of Roosevelt Avenue for a reported shooting. While on scene, officers located a 30-year-old male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to York Hospital for treatment and is expected to survive. Detectives were notified and are investigating.
