On December 21st, 2019 at approximately 7:20 PM, the York City Police Department responded to the 300 block of Wallace Street for a reported cardiac arrest. 

Upon their arrival they discovered one adult male and one adult female who were deceased as the result of an assault.  Police then began a thorough investigation into this incident.  Detectives began interviewing witnesses and among those on scene was a Levar Fountain 38, of York.

During their investigation it was determined that Fountain was a suspect in this attack and he later made statements to Police admitting his involvement.  It was determined that he had assaulted the two victims with an edged weapon causing their death.  Fountain is related to both victims.  Fountain was then charged with 2 counts of Criminal Homicide and arraigned at Central Booking for this incident.  Names of the victims will be released by the coroner’s office after next of kin has been notified.
