Update #2 - Request for Assistance

The York City Police Department is requesting assistance locating a silver 2020-2022 Nissan sedan (photo attached), wanted in relation to the homicide of Lykeem Bethune.

This vehicle has tinted windows, moderate damage to the front end. The driver side front hood is buckled and has a loose front bumper. 

Any information regarding this vehicle can be submitted using any method below.

We apologize but the victim is in critical condition and is still alive. More information will be provided as we receive it.

Investigation

On Sunday, September 11^th, 2022, at approximately 3:26pm, York City Police responded to the area of E. Jackson St. and S. Court St for a reported shooting. On scene, officers located a 26-year-old male who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Detectives were notified and are investigating.
