On February 17th, 2020 at approximately 5:54 PM the York City Police Department responded to the 400 block of Smith St for a report of a shooting.  Once on scene they discovered a 19 year old adult male who had been shot while he was outside.  The victim was transported to York Hospital for treatment and is still in critical condition.  Information about this case, including a motive, is limited at this time. There are no suspects and no arrests have been made.  Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the York City Police Department in any of the following ways. Tips can always be anonymous.
