Incident
On Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, at approximately 10:24pm, York City Police were dispatched to the 200 block of W. Jackson St. for a suspicious male who had been trespassing onto a known property. A witness confronted the trespasser prompting the trespasser to flee on foot. While the trespasser fled, the witness alerted a group of unknown individuals to stop the trespasser. The group of individuals stopped the trespasser and began to assault him before they fled from the scene. When officers and emergency service arrived, treatment was provided to the trespasser; however, the 35-year-old male succumbed to his injuries at York Hospital. Detectives continue to investigate.
