On December 12th, 2019 at approximately 5:01 PM the York City Police Department responded to the 400 block of W. College Ave for the report of a shooting. This shooting caused the death of one 17-year-old female, Emily Shoemaker of Dover, and injured two other male juveniles. One of those male juveniles was also shot, and the other male juvenile was injured during an accident that occurred after the shooting.
York City Police began investigating this incident and during the course of their investigation it was discovered that a Daiquan Dickerson, 18 of Red Lion, was involved in this shooting. A warrant was obtained for his arrest for Criminal Homicide, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Homicide, and Criminal Attempt Homicide (2 Counts). Also involved was a Sterling Frantz, 20, of York, who was charged with Criminal Homicide and Criminal Attempt Homicide. He was arraigned and committed to York County Prison with no bail.
Dickerson is considered armed and dangerous and is wanted by the York City Police Department for his involvement in this incident. The suspect vehicle involved in this shooting is a grey 2016 Nissan Altima bearing PA registration KZL-6143, belonging to a Caylah Webb of Lancaster.
