The West York Borough Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred at approx. 3:00 a.m. (February 14, 2021) in the 1400 Block of W. Market Street.

A 31 year old male was shot multiple times at close range. It appears as though the victim was attending some type of after-hours party at an adjacent business where numerous people were present. 

The victim's name is being withheld pending family notification.

This is a developing incident, however anyone with knowledge of what happened, or who was present at the scene is asked to contact the West York Borough Police at (717) 854-1975 or via 911.
