Yesterday evening around 9:30 pm, WYBPD Offcers were called to the 1st Block of Dewey Street for a report of shots fired. Upon their arrival, they found evidence of a shooting and ultimately located a victim who had non-life threatening injuries. 

A police investigation determined that multiple people (including the victim) were involved in this targeted shooting incident, and that this is not a random violent violent act or robbery attempt.

Police are continuing to investigate, and ask that anyone with information please contact the West York Borough Police Department.
