WYBPD is investigating a shooting that occurred on Thursday, May 19, 2022 around 5:30 pm.
At least two suspects were involved in shooting at an individual that they had arranged a meeting with, striking his vehicle multiple times.
This occurred in the area of Overbrook Ave and W. Princess Street.
Police are seeking help from area residents that may have witnessed the incident or the suspects as they fled.
We believe they were on Overbrook Ave in the area of W. Poplar, when they (after shooting) fled south on Overbrook, then traveling on foot west on W. Princess St.
They are described as mid to late teens, both males, one black and the other white or light skinned, both wearing hoodies.
Anyone who has information on this incident or possibly witnessed the suspects are asked to contact WYBPD by calling 911 or submitting a tip on West York Crimewatch or Facebook.
As a reminder, this was not a random incident.
