On January 1st a resident found a flat tire on their SUV parked along Oak Manor Drive. After inspection, a screw was found in the sidewall of the tire, at a location indicating intentional vandalism.

On December 30th, Officers were called to the 100 block of W. Crestlyn Drive for a significant amount of spray-paint vandalism to a York Water Company water tower. Swastikas, obscene images and messages were scrawled across the structure.

On December 28th officers were called to the St. Paul's United Church of Christ at 205 W. Main Street in Dallastown. On December 24th someone tore down a rainbow flag and broke the brackets holding the pole to the building.

A Burglary was reported at York Excavating on December 27th at 8am. The building located at 3175 E. Prospect Road was entered and damaged with multiple items moved, damaged and/or stolen. A large vehicle was stolen from the property during the burglary.

Overnight on December 26th someone started a Skidster parked next to a Conex storage container in the Windsor Commons Retail Complex at 3175 Cape Horn Road. They then broke a chain to access the container. Another piece of maintenance equipment valued at several hundred dollars was stolen from...

On December 25th at 2:30am a resident in the first block of Farmington Drive in Jacobus reported vandalism to their outdoor electrical wiring. Cut wires had been discovered and repaired multiple times during the past two weeks.

At an unknown time during the evening of December 21st, someone entered a car parked to the rear of a property on the first block of S. Main St. in Spring Grove and stole several firearms and an assortment of ammunition. The total loss is over $9,000.

On December 23rd, Officers were called to the 500 block of Lakeview Drive for racial and homophobic vandalism painted on the side of a building.

On December 23rd a tenant of a storage unit reported that at an unknown time, someone stole 10 rings from the unit.

Case Status:

On December 23rd, a resident in the first block of Schoolhouse Lane reported that a package was delivered and then stolen. Delivery was confirmed by the shipper. A $100 loss.
