On 01-17-21 at 0231 hours, York Area Regional Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle MVA at 2900 Windsor Rd.  Upon arrival, Officers discovered that the driver of the vehicle had fled on foot.  A utility pole was down and wires are currently blocking the roadway.  It is estimated that Windsor Rd. between Delta Rd. and Valley Rd. will be closed for most of the morning.  Please avoid this route.  

Please avoid South Queen Street at Leader Heights (York Townshy) for a two vehicle roll over for the next 2 hours.

First responders are on scene of a residential structure fire in the 500 block of Dartmoor Ln in Windsor Twp. All occupants and neighbors were evacuated from their residences. The cause of the fire is unknown and being investigated. Fire personnel are still currently working to extinguish the flames.

On 12-18-20 at 1635 hour, York Area Regional officers responded to a two vehicle MVA in the area of 855 Delta Rd.  No life threatening injuries were reported.  The roadway is now open. 

REMINDER TO OUR COMMUNITIES:  Please lock your vehicles day & night and secure your home every time you leave.  YAPD has been getting reports of thefts and suspicious persons in neighborhoods between mid-night and 4am.  Please call 911 if you see anything suspicious where you live.  Any type of video footage, pictures, vehicle descriptions / registrations, direction of travel (as you are calling 911) helps us out tremendously.  Thank you for supporting us as we are thankful to serving you everyday. 

2:24 pm 32 E. Main St. Dallastown. YAPD Officers responded to a three vehicle motor vehicle accident with rollover.  Only minor injuries were reported. The roadway is now reopened. 

Please avoid Cape Horn Road north of Windsor Road in York Township for the next hour.

On 10-11-20 a green over silver 2006 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Pennsylvania registration KKR0215 was stolen from Troy Rd. within York Township.  The vehicle has several stickers on the rear window including a TRUMP, PEACE TEA and "LYNDSEY".  Please contact 911 if seen.  Attached is a stock photo of similar vehicle. 

Please assist the York Area Regional Police Dept in locating George Lewis, a 61 y/o male who is suffering from dementia. Mr Lewis, walked away from a nursing facility earlier this evening and his whereabouts are unknown. He was last seen wearing a green & blue flannel jacket and possibly grey sweatpants. Mr Lewis is a white male, 5’10” weighting approx 175 lbs and may have glasses. He is to have a splint on his right arm. Anyone with information concerning his whereabouts is asked to contact York County 911 and /or York Area Regional Police Dept.
