Occasionally, residents need to be fingerprinted in order to apply for a government job or to obtain other security clearances. The YAPD provides this service for a fee.
Two Forms of ID are REQUIRED. One with a picture. Expired IDs are NOT valid.
EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 15, 2016- A change in the cost for the fingerprinting fee was adopted by Resolution 2016-008
Cost: $25.00 for the first two fingerprint cards and;
$3.00 for each additional fingerprint card.
-Cash, Checks or Money Orders are accepted. We do not accept Credit Cards.
Fingerprinting is provided Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in our office located at 33 Oak Street, York, PA 17402.
No need to call for an appointment. Walk-ins are accepted.
