On 04/23/2019 at approximately 04:07 am an officer of the West Manchester Township Police Department was dispatched to the area of Route 30 East between Carlisle Rd and Kenneth Rd. The striking vehicle was traveling east on RT 30 when it struck the rear of another vehicle, which was traveling east on Route 30 in the left lane.

The operator of the striking vehicle was driving a dark colored GMC SUV (Unknown Registration).  The striking vehicle did not stop to render aid and failed to contact police regarding this accident. The vehicle had damage to the front bumper, which caused the front grill to fall off the vehicle.

The operator of the struck vehicle stated that he was in the left lane traveling at about 45 MPH , and there were no cars in sight. He said that he had no idea where the striking vehicle came from, but it struck the rear bumper of his vehicle, which pushed him into the concrete barrier on the left side of the road. Due to his injuries and the positioning of his vehicle, he was unable to exit the vehicle. He was transported to York Hospital for his injuries.

Upon further investigation it was determined that the striking vehicle stopped at the Royal Farms at 1170 Loucks Road immediately after the crash.

Anyone who is able to identify the suspect in this video is encouraged to contact the West Manchester Township Police Department at (717) 792-9514.
