Attempt To Identify - Theft from at Weis Markets

On 06/27/2019 an officer of the West Manchester Township Police Department responded to Weis Markets, 1800 Roosevelt Avenue, for a retail theft report. 
 
An unidentified Hispanic male entered the store at approximately 1908 hours and selects a tray of brownies ($7.00). He continues to the seafood section and selects 10 bags of shrimp ($15.98 each). He places all the items in his hand held shopping basket.  An employee notices that the subject walks out of the store, passing all points of purchase and fails to pay for the items. The employee approaches the subject outside of the store and requests that the subject come back inside. The subject begins to follow him inside, but then drops the basket and runs. The subject gets into a blue 2004 Toyota Corolla and leaves the area. The vehicle was last seen south on Roosevelt Avenue toward Route 30. 
 
The officer was provided a receipt for the stolen merchandise ($166.80), which was recovered.
