Police Administrative Office Hours
Our regular administrative office hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 AM to 4:30PM except holidays. Police officers are on duty 24/7 a week. If you have an emergency, please call 911. If you need police services (non-emergency) during non-business hours, please call (717) 840-2971.
Since April, 2009 the Spring Garden Township Police Department has been accredited by the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission and the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association.
Quick Response Team Member
The department is a participating member of the York County Quick Response Team. The York County Quick Response Team (YCQRT) was formed in November 2002 to provide assistance to local law enforcement agencies in the management and resolution of special threats and high-risk incidents.
On October 1, 2014 at 12:15 PM, police were called to Stahl Headers, located at 1515 Mt Rose Avenue, for a report of illegal dumping. According to the victim, unknkown actor(s) filled their metal recycling dumpster with trash.
On September 11, 2014 at 08:27 AM, police were called to a home in the 1200 block of E. South Street for a reported residential burglary. The victim reports that unknown actor(s) entered the home sometime between the morning of September 10, and the morning of September 11, 2014, and removed...
On September 11, 2014 at 02:54 AM, police were called to a home on the 500 block of Dupont Avenue for a report a domestic disturbance at the residence. As a result of the on-scene investigation, a female was later cited for a violation of Harassment.
On September 10, 2014 at 4:37 PM, police were called to a home in the 1800 block of Crestlyn Road for a report of a subject soliciting door to door without a valid permit. As a result of the investigation, two subjects will be cited for Soliciting without a Permit.
On September 09, 2014 at 5:30 PM, police were called to a home in the 500 block of Colonial Avenue for a report of the theft from an automobile. The victim reported several items, inlcuding a GPS unit, were taken from the vehicle overnight.
