Police were called to the area of the 600 block of S. Ogontz Street for a report of three suspicious males in the area, two on bicycles, and one walking.  Upon further investigation, responding officers located the subjects in the area of Hollywood Drive and Grandview Road and determined that two of the subjects were in violation of curfew.  As a result of the investigation, police recovered a bicycle which is described as follows:

Police were called an address in the 900 block of S. George Street for a reported Criminal Mischief to a Automobile.  The victim reported his vehicle was vandalized overnight while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot.

Incident Type:

Police were called to a home in the 1600 block of Sleepyhollow for a reported domestic dispute inside/at a car.  As a result of the on-scene investigation, a 52 year old male will be charged with one summary count of Harassment.

The complainant reported being the victim of an attempted Fraud.  The victim reported receiving phones calls from an unknown actor(s) claiming they were with the IRS and that the victim owed them money.

On Friday August 14, 2015 at 23:55 hours, the defendant was observed operating a motor vehicle in the area of Lancaster Avenue and E. Maple Street in Spring Garden Township.  The vehicle did not have any tail lamps or side marker lamps illuminated at the time and the vehicle was being operated to the left of the center of the road.  The vehicle was stopped.  As a result of further on-scene investigation, Mr. Moats was arrested for the following offenses:

Police were called to the Dollar General Store located at 1077 S. Edgar Street for a report of a Retail Theft in progress.  As a result of the investigation, police arrested the defendant for one summary count of Retail Theft.  The defendant is accused of taking merchandise offered for sale without paying for the items.  She was taken to York County Central Booking for processing and was later released.

Charges:

The defendant is accused of obtaining prescription medications by fraudulent means from Minnich's Pharmacy located at 976 S. George Street in Spring Garden Township on March 30, 2015.  Following an investigation into the matter, police obtained an arrest warrant for the defendant on April 28, 2015.  The defendant was arraigned on these charges on April 30, 2015.  She was unable to post bail and was confined to the York County Prison.

On Thursday April 23, 2015, the defendant, Harrison R. HACKWORTH, age 54, of York, PA was arrested and arraigned on the following charges following a three month long investigation by the department. 

CC3123(A1) - Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse 

CC3126(A2) - Indecent Assault

CC6318(A3) - Unlawful Contact With a Minor

CC5902(B1) - Promoting Prostitution of Minor

CC6301(A1) - Corruption of Minors

CC6301(A1II) - Corruption of Minors

The defendant's bail was set at $10,000.00.

On Monday January 12, 2015 at approximately 3:22 PM, police were called to 554 W. Springettsbury Avenue by EMS personnel for a reported stabbing.   EMS personnel had been dispatched to the home for a medical issue and upon arrival discovered two victims with lacerations from an apparent assault.  Both subjects were transported to York Hospital for further medical treatment.  The subjects were identified as brothers, Asasii Y. Sweeney, age 37, and Zebulun E. Sweeney, age 27, who reside at the residence.
