N.T.P.D. Attains PLEAC Re-Accreditation
On August 18, 2020 Newberry Township Police Department was presented with our 3-year law enforcement re-accreditation certification and plaque by Richard Hammon, Coordinator of the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (PLEAC). Newberry Township Police has proudly retained law enforcement accreditation since 2005. Through this valuable program, our agency is required to demonstrate compliance with nationally recognized police policy and practices and standards. This process ensures that our agency is policing our communities in the best possible manner and following current and accepted police practices.
