On 4/22/22, an Officer attempted to perform a traffic stop on Long Level Road in the area of Murphy’s Hollow Road. The suspect vehicle continued into Wrightsville Borough and pulled over. The officer made contact with the driver who was identified as TERRY ALAN ZERPHEY (W/M/64) of Lancaster, PA. Zerphey displayed signs of intoxication and the officer attempted to have Zerphey perform a portable breath test but Zerphey did not follow instructions and failed to do it properly. Zerphey was taken into custody and transported to Central Booking for suspicion of DUI. Zerphey refused the blood test and was processed and released.
On 5/2/22, charges were filed at MDJ 19-3-01 Judge Fishel’s Office. A preliminary hearing will be scheduled.
Zerphey is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
