National Night Out Community Celebration

On Tuesday August 7th we will host our 5th annual National Night Out Community Celebration.  The event will be held at Roof Park beside the Township Building and will run from 5:00-9:00 PM.  Thanks to our generous sponsors, this is a free event for all who attend.  We will have free food, prize drawings, bounce houses, horse-drawn carriage rides and a variety of games and activities.

The concept of National Night Out is to promote strong police – community relationships and improve neighborhood awareness on crime prevention.  The police department will have officers on hand to answer questions and interact with children, as well as informational pamphlets, gun locks, child ID kits and other items to hand out.  In addition to the police department, there will be many other public safety and community organizations and businesses participating in the event as well.

Newman from Bob 94.9 will be providing music, and there is even talk of a tug-of-war between the Police and Fire Departments.

Please mark your calendars and come out and join us at this fun-filled community event.
