2020 No-Shave November Fundraiser
The Fairview Township Police Department is once again proud to raise money for charity through our No-Shave November fundraiser. In exchange for raising at least $200, each participating officer is given a waiver from department policy and can grow facial hair through the end of the year. While the officers enjoy growing beards, their real motivation is raising money for a children's charity.
This year the department has again selected the Children's Miracle Network at Penn State Children's Hospital as our recipient. Through your generous donations last year, the 13 participating officers raised an amazing $7,690.00 for the hospital. After a tour of the facility, we realized the amazing work that they perform and the incredible care they provide to those going through their worst nightmare.
All of the money donated is used locally, such as assisting 4-yr old Fairview Township resident Joella who came to thank us in person at the police station last year. Donated funds go to support research and training, the purchase of equipment, as well as to pay for uncompensated care. If you are able, please consider joining us in supporting the unbelievable work that the Children's Miracle Network at Penn State Children's Hospital does, Any amount is very much appreciated.
